Core Recovery

"BURINTEKH", Ltd provides services for core recovery using core barrels and core heads of domestic manufacture. Core barrels are designed for core recovery with hydraulic downhole motor or rotor in formations of 1-3 category of recovery difficulty with the use of core heads of different diameters. Differential design features of core barrels made by "BURINTEKH", Ltd permit to prevent drilling mud filtrate penetration in core material, in conjunction with PDC core heads, the volume of core recovery is 97-100%. It is ensured by using spiral stabilizer and fiberglass bushings. Depending on technical technological and geological requirements core barrels can be used in single-section variants. "BURINTEKH", Ltd makes provision for the system of pay depending on the quality of core recovery.

During drilling ultradeep well number SG-7, En-Yakhnitskoe field, in the interval of 8003 meters and 8250 meters core recovery was made by core head BIT 139.7/67 C9. Meterage per core head was 29 meters at an average ROP 0,46 meters per hour.
